Electrical equipment, which are parts of our daily lives, are brought into use in different models and types. As the importance of these products in our lives increases, safety problems for the health of the environment and human beings increases, too. In this context, the Low Voltage Directive has significance in the design and development of electrical products produced. 

LVD (Low Voltage Directive)is the directive relating to the electrical equipment designed for use within specific voltage limits. The aim of this directive is to determine the rules and procedures relating to the safety rules and compliance assessment procedures that are required for introduction of the electrical equipment included within the scope of the directive to the market after fulfilling the safety requirements and compliance assessment procedures in this directive. In our LVD test laboratory accredited by Turkish Accreditation Agency within the scope of TS EN ISO 17025 standard, tests have been performed in line with the standards that belong to the product so that the product fulfils the requirements of the directive. The main aim of these tests, which must be performed for the CE sign, is to observe that the device meets the sufficient safety conditions in the face of mechanical and electrical dangers that might be caused by these devices on humans, animals and the environment.
